
Jessica Cherrett
President
Jess joined HHWB in 2021 and has dedicated herself to spending time in the clinic, making days, and foraging, among other areas. Jess completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) in 2016. If she isn’t hanging with her family, working on land, or dabbling in an abundance of hobbies, you’ll find her working as a Naturopath, a Storyteller, or in the community Apothecary she helped found. She wouldn’t like to be without Hawthorn, Pine, Rose, and Thyme.

Monica Francia
Vice President
Monica Francia is the co-founder of Hobart Herbalists Without Borders. She is a clinical Naturopath and Nutritionist with 8+ years of clinical experience. She is passionate about community health and accessibility to herbal medicine. She is also a small scale medicinal herb farmer and medicine maker at her business Hop Valley Herb Farm, which is also committed to regularly donating herbs to the Community clinics.

Tasha Erker
Treasurer
Tasha holds a Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping and works in finance for a small NGO. She joined HHWB in 2022 and enjoys being able to contribute as a dispensary assistant as well as balancing the books. Tasha’s favourite herbs are tulsi, California poppy and lavender.

Libby Scott
Secretary
Libby has had a long affiliation with medicinal plants and traditional healing. She joined HHWB in 2023 and enjoys participating in the making days and volunteering as a dispensary assistant. She enjoys nothing more than spending time in the garden and tending to her favourite herbs; lavender, heartsease and dandelion.

Rikki Beca-Cherrett
Committee Member
Rikki joined HHWB in 2024 as the IT Support Specialist, lending their skills for everything tech-based. As of the second half of 2025, they also signed up to become a part of HHWB’s Committee. A mix of nerd and greenie, you’ll find them equally interested in finding ways to make work smoother as they are in finding something else to add Rosemary to.

Gemma Wells
Committee Member
Gemma graduated as a naturopath in 2021 and she is deeply passionate about accessible, community-centred medicine. She joined HHWB in 2025. She loves foraging and growing medicinal herbs, making remedies, and has a special place in her heart for mugwort, yarrow and chamomile.
